Blush Harlem with custom sleeve, lined bodice & sparkle tulle
What was your favorite feature?
The floral details & ballgown/princess silhouette. I had pockets, sleeves, lined bodice & sparkle tulle layer added which I absolutely loved & felt made the dress unique to me. I also always knew I would end up in a blush gown with a beautiful train & corset style bodice!
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I felt beautiful, which is a small miracle in & of itself as 2 years ago my (future) husband & I were involved in a horrific boating accident. Without going too far into the gory details, he pulled me from the water after we hit an unseen object below the water’s surface as I was thrown from the boat. But unfortunately not before I sustained life changing fractures & lacerations to my face. I was afraid I’d never be able to smile again but thankfully this dress had me smiling all day & night!
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
My husband & I were legally married/eloped mid June 2023 so that my work would transfer me to the same province he was relocating to. Exactly a year later, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams in southern British Columbia. Sadly, with our luck, it rained most of the day…However, for the exact 25 minutes of our ceremony, the sun miraculously peaked through the clouds & shone down on all our family & friends gathered in my parents’ backyard to celebrate our special day with us ??
