The Wedding Dress Of My Dreams
What was your favorite feature?
Impossible to choose just one! For me personally, I loved that it came in the 'diamond white' colourway and that it was very full in the skirt. These were two features I was struggling to find with other dresses.
I found the natural waistline and sweetheart neckline very flattering, and the covered buttons and dramatic pleating added a level of drama.
I also loved the option for the detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves and the ability to extend the train for a more personalised dress experience.
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I felt like a queen. I felt powerful and graceful. When I first tried on the dress in my local boutique, it fit like a glove and felt like it was made for me. I felt at home, completely comfortable, and like I would be happy to never take it off.
I always knew I wanted a huge wedding dress but most of what I had previously tried on fell slightly short for me in one way or another. I wanted my dress to have its own personality while still allowing me to shine through and be the star of the show.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
Jack and I got married at our hometown's Hyatt Hotel in March 2024.
We were joined by one hundred of our friends and family for a whole weekend of fun activities.
It was a bright and colourful affair, beautifully styled with multi-coloured flowers, candles, glassware, linens and acrylic cutout signage pieces. Our wedding included a string trio for the ceremony, a five piece band for the reception, a four-tier cake, and a six-tiered champagne tower.
It was everything we could have wished for.
