What was your favorite feature?
I loved the Mikado silk and the sexy beaded neckline.
Fun fact- I literally picked my dress online without ever trying it on or seeing it in person. It came in less than two weeks before my wedding and thankfully fit like a glove. It was perfect. I’m a former bridal consultant and sometimes bridal model so I’ve worn a lot of dresses and I’ve handled even more. I trusted Maggie quality enough to be confident ordering it without trying it on and I’m so glad I did!
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I genuinely felt like the most beautiful, classic, timeless bride ever. I wanted something that wouldn’t ever look dated or overly trendy.
The construction was amazing and the shapewear liner and boning left me feeling sexy and curvy and comfortable!
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
It was the best day ever. We did everything ourselves and planned it in three months. It wasn’t huge. Close family and friends with our five daughters as the wedding party. Lots of jewel tones, laughter, fancy cheese, music, wine and I wish we could do it once a year.
It also rained, we forgot to turn music on at the the chapel until 15 minutes before the procession, and forgot both the chocolate and the wine for the chocolate and wine portion of the ceremony and even after all that? Perfect.
