felt like an absolute dream
What was your favorite feature?
the floral appliques were my favorite. The detail-work was amazing, it looked like good quality craftsmanship. Not itchy at all. Over the off-white fabric that stood out. Loved the layers of soft fabric/tulle, they felt so light and breezy without being too hot and heavy. (Luckily for my my wedding and reception days were quite chilly). Liked that the train which was not TOO long. Since I am petite (5'2") I did have to alter it by trimming it down but it was still so lovely.
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I felt simply GORGEOUS. A goddess, an enchanted forest empress. Ethereal. I don't know what else to say. I loved looking at and being in my dress.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
intimate elopement style wedding, 14-15 guests. Dinner on the patio, prepared by a private chef. Our first look in the forest next to the cabin. Ceremony offsite at a state park beach overlooking the lake, surrounded by rocky shoreline and pine forest. champagne toast, first dance, and cake on the beach. backyard reception with 125 guests in my in-law's a few weeks later. I had a different elopement photographer but my brother is also a wedding photographer and snapped these!
