What was your favorite feature?
I absolutely loved everything about Kern from the moment I saw it. Kern had a snug fit but was so incredibly comfortable. The asymmetric, illusion neckline was flattering, sexy and modest. Chantilly lace over a cool-toned mauve lining was more than I could have dreamed for the vintage look that matched our wedding vibe while still flattering my look. Once I tried it on, I couldn't get it out of my head. Nothing else would have been right.
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I felt the most beautiful - it was like this dress was designed specifically for me. Every detail was exactly what I wanted it to be - the perfect balance of vintage and modern, sexy and demure, sophisticated and fun.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
We were married at a fully restored Victorian manor on 11/11/23. We paid homage to our ancestors, our love of reading, music, & science. We wrote our vows, created our centerpieces, chose every detail to best represent us. My husband and I met briefly when we were children, and in other's orbits many times since, but never officially met again until 2019. Our love story is magical, touched with destiny, and we were lucky to share this celebration with everyone we love.
