The perfect dress for the perfect day!
What was your favorite feature?
The best feature of this dress was the sash on the back! When I first saw it in the store, I thought for sure I would take it off. In fact, I didn’t even try it on with the sash and still loved it enough to buy it that day. When I came back to pick it up I tried it with the sash and was blown away! It was beyond perfect. The way it falls and softens the back is next level beautiful. All of my guests commented on how beautiful the back of the dress was!
How did you feel in your wedding dress?
I never wear tight clothes and often feel very self conscious in them. I was shocked when I tried on this form fitting dress and immediately fell in love. I was worried that it might not be flattering in photos, but I was SO wrong. I’ve truly never felt more beautiful than I did in that dress on my wedding day. I recently got my photos back and there isn’t a single photo that makes me feel self conscious.
Tell us a little about your wedding day.
We got married in Portland, ME. Due to COVID, we ended up postponing twice. In the end, we are so thankful that we did because we were able to have a slightly smaller scale version of our dream wedding - with no masks! Our ceremony was at a church near the school I teach at and I was able to have a few students join us for the ceremony which was so special to me.
We had a beautiful day, with some scattered rain showers that timed perfectly around our photos.
