Blakely\u00a0was the perfect complement to Emma&#8217;s wedding, with a timeless silhouette and romantic details, from crystal embellishments to an illusion back. \u201cMy mom said I sparkled when I put it on,\u201d Emma said. \u201cI tried on a ton of dresses, and loved many of them, but when I put on Blakely, I couldn\u2019t stop smiling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Emma and her handsome groom personalized the wedding with special touches. \u201cMy parents own a flower shop and everyone who works there is like family to us,\u201d she said. \u201cThey all pitched in to help. Oh my goodness\u2026the back is stunning! It\u2019s a beautiful mix of glam\u00a0and vintage detail!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Favorite wedding day moment:\u201dI jumped for joy at the altar when we exchanged our vows! But my favorite part was walking down the aisle as husband and wife! All of our friends and family were smiling, laughing, crying, cheering\u2026We were surrounded by so much love\u2013 it was the best feeling!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Advice for future brides: \u201cReally try to be in the moment! Once your day starts, don\u2019t waste any time thinking about what\u2019s next or what may have gone wrong \u2013 just soak up every moment! Oh \u2013 and do a \u201cfirst look\u201d with your dad \u2013 that was a great moment for me!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>How did you and your now husband meet? \u00a0\u201cIn college (SUNY Oneonta)! The last semester of our senior year we both took a racquetball class. Kyle asked me out when I was in my sweats and racquetball safely glasses\u2026I knew he was a keeper!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Your wedding in one word:\u00a0 \u201cJoyous!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Did your wedding have a theme? How did you decide what elements to incorporate into your wedding? \u201cMy mom is a florist so I\u2019ve grown up around flowers my whole life. I\u2019ve had the chance to see so many different wedding themes \u2013 all beautiful in their own way! When it came time to create our \u201cbig day\u201d we wanted it to be romantic and elegant. The reception venue was just that! There were some details we added to it \u2013 big ferns framing the band, garland around the \u201cMr\u201d and \u201cMrs\u201d chairs, lots and lots of flowers and plants everywhere (of course)!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Did anything unexpected happen on your big day? \u201cEverything went perfectly! My dad and I had a special dance prepared \u2026 we started off with \u201cWhat a Wonderful World\u201d and then jumped into \u201cStart Me Up\u201d by The Rolling Stones \u2013 it was a great surprise for our guests!
