Searching for a beautiful yet oh-so-comfortable wedding gown (maybe for that destination elopement you’ve been scheming)? Londyn by Maggie Sottero features illusion lace over a satin slip underlay. This luxurious gown creates a feminine silhouette without weighing you down a bit! Find a store.
Which Maggie Sottero gown did you wear?
Londyn in ivory over light gold.
How did you know when you found “the dress”?
It was the first dress I tried on! Every dress after didn’t have that special feel. The second time I tried it on with close family we all cried in agreement… it was the winner!
What was your favorite part of the dress?
The scalloped lace neckline and lace back detail.
How did you and your partner meet?
On the ferry coming back from Seattle. The boat was crowded so we shared a table. The rest is history!
How did he propose?
During a live music summer night in our small community. We walked under a bridge to be close to the music but also just talk. While we were looking for seaglass, he pulled the ring out and when I turned around he was down on one knee.
Where did you get married?
On family property in North Bend, WA.
Did your wedding have a theme?
Yes. We ended up with a travel theme.
How did you decide what you wanted your wedding to look like?
We talk about traveling around the world together. Incorporating small things like globes and map fabric for our chairs, but keeping the feeling intimate with simplicity of light flowers and greenery.
What was your favorite wedding day moment?
Having alone time with each other after the ceremony. Being able to sneak off to Snoqualmie Falls for some photos was really the perfect start to our adventures as husband and wife.
Describe your wedding in one word.
A dream.
What advice do you have for future brides?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Little details you think matter will not even cross your mind on that day. Focus on the love in front of you.
