Maggie Bride: Jenny’s Rustic Vintage Wedding
For Maggie Bride Jenny, picking the venue was the easiest part of her wedding planning. “I only visited one venue and it was perfect,” Jenny said. “I knew I wanted market lights and an evening wedding so we decided the Temecula Creek Inn was the perfect setting. The already had a beautiful chandelier and market lights over the dance floor and it was set in the middle of mountains and trees. It was so intimate and beautiful. We love the outdoors and nature and the old stone house on the property was a great touch. As we planned and planned more ideas came to mind. I would say the look of the wedding brought itself to life as we planned and brainstormed!” If only finding the right dress was as easy! Jenny, who had originally decided on an all over strapless lace dress, wasn’t convinced. “I went home that evening and looked at pictures of me in the dress over and over and for some reason it just didn’t feel right,” she said. “I called the shop and asked them not to go through with the order. I made one more appointment to come in alone. At that appointment I still went between the three I had picked out and still wasn’t feeling that “feeling”. I walked around the racks and racks of dresses and then a simple lace gown caught my eye. I pulled it out and told the sales woman I would like to try it on. I put it on and immediately knew it was my dress. I walked out and they added a belt and veil and I was certain. I said yes to the right dress that time and it was perfect.” We’re swooning over Jenny’s rustic vintage wedding.

Favorite wedding day moment? “There were so many, but I would have to say seeing Jeff for the first time that day. We did a private first look and it was so special and he looked so happy. He absolutely loved my dress! I felt so beautiful. I will never forget that moment. I also think just seeing the whole wedding come together and feeling all the love around us was so amazing as well. It was such a wonderful day!”
Advice for future brides? “I would say to trust your gut. If you have a vision, don’t be swayed by others opinions. Do what truly makes you and your fiance happy! Be kind to those around you. They are just trying to help make your day special. Book vendors you trust and that will help your day go by smoothly. Invest in a good photographer! Working with Sposto Photography was one of the best decisions we made! And lastly, enjoy your wedding day and soak in every moment because it goes by so fast. Enjoy being married! It is the best feeling!”
How did you and your now husband meet? “We met at work. I actually worked at Lucky Strike in Orange over a year before we even went out. He was a bartender and I was a server and it just happened pretty organically. After the first date, I just knew I wanted to keep getting to know him and that he was different from every other person I’d dated. He was special. Eventually, I left the company because he got promoted to a management role but it was the best trade off ! Lost a job gained an amazing husband! Lucky me!”
Describe your wedding in one word. “Magical!”
Where did you get married? “The Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA. ”
Did your wedding have a theme? “I knew I wanted to keep it rustic and vintage. My maid of Honor, my florist Jenny Hill of Little Hill Floral Designs really made my vision come to life. Everything was perfect and every detail was so well thought out. I really had a creative team that worked wonders to give me what I was dreaming of.”
