Maggie Bride: Natalie Swart

Like many brides searching for their wedding gown, Maggie Bride Natalie had tried on dress after dress after dress. “My mind was so confused,” Natalie said. “That evening when I went home, only one dress stuck out in my mind, and I knew then that it was the dress!” The dress that captured Natalie’s heart and mind was our gorgeous Everett gown, a strapless fit-and-flare gown with beaded lace motifs. Complete with game drives, wild animals, dinner under the stars and the Zululand Gospel Choir even sang throughout the wedding day, we’re absolutely smitten with this South African wedding!  See more pictures and read about Natalie’s story below!

Favorite part of the dress: “Apart from the style of the dress, which I loved, the dress had beautiful Swarovski crystal detailing, which was my favorite!”

Favorite wedding day moment: “My favorite wedding day moment was taking a moment with my husband during the reception to just take everything in and enjoy the moment together! We were completely filled with gratitude and happiness and gave ourselves a moment to just appreciate it all.”

Advice for future brides: “Enjoy! So often brides get carried away in the planning and the stress of ensuring that everything runs perfectly. While so much time goes in to ensuring your guests are happy, I advise brides not to forget that most importantly, you and your husband need to make the day about the two of you. As cliche as it may sound, don’t sweat the small stuff!”
