Maggie Bride: Elizabeth’s Coral Wedding

Real Weddings | May 26, 2014

In honor of Memorial Day, we’d like to take a moment and thank all of the servicemen and women serving our country… Including our lovely Maggie Bride Elizabeth’s handsome husband, who serves in the U.S. Marines Corps. We thank you for all you do! Now, onto their gorgeous coral wedding! Jose and Elizabeth met in October of 2005. “It was his first weekend out of the military,” Elizabeth said. “We met at a little Spanish rock club in the Bay Area.”  The two fell in love, and later wed in San Jose, not too far from their original meeting spot. When it came to finding the perfect wedding dress, Elizabeth’s search was minimal. “It was love at first sight,” she said of her gorgeous chiffon wedding dress. “It was the first dress I bookmarked online, and the one I ended up buying!”  Elizabeth and Jose accented their gorgeous wedding with shades of coral, light pinks and ivory.  We’re just smitten with this coral wedding… See more below!

Favorite wedding day moment: For Jose, hearing Elizabeth say “Yes” at the altar was the highlight of the wedding day. Elizabeth: “Walking into the church with my dad and seeing Jose waiting for me at the altar in his Dress Blues.”

Advice for future brides: “Don’t second guess your decisions so much. Usually, the first thing you see and like is the right one… It happened to me!”

Describe your wedding in one word. “Classy.”
