Dress: SaBelle

Favorite part about the dress: “I chose SaBelle because she gave me a little bit of everything that I wanted in one dress. If I had to choose, I would probably say the embellished lace that you can see on the side of the dress that carries over to the back. I love the intricate detail and the way it brings elegance to the layers of taffeta.”

Favorite wedding day moment: “At the beginning of our ceremony we had everyone that was there stand up and sing “Be Thou My Vision” with us. With the cathedral-style ceilings of the chapel, everyone’s voices echoed and filled the space. When I closed my eyes I felt like I caught a tiny glimpse of what heaven will be like as I listened to everyone. It was a beautiful moment of dedication to God, and I will never forget it.”

Advice to future brides: “Take the time to enjoy every moment while you’re planning. It was easy for me to be overwhelmed with the details, and consumed with deadlines, but my husband and family did a fantastic job of helping me pace myself, and offering to help with as much as they could. You only get the opportunity once in a lifetime! Work hard to make your childhood wedding dreams come true, but also recognize reality, and be willing to compromise when it is needed for the sake of your sanity, and all those around you ”
