Mother of a Real Bride’s Sentiments

“Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! It was exactly what a wedding should be.. full of fun, family and friends. But there was one person, other than my groom, who was there for me every step of the way…. my mom. The moments we shared are some that I will treasure forever. She was the one who woke me up for my 5:00 AM hair appointment singing, ‘It’s your wedding day!’ She painted my nails and made sure that not one hair was out a place. She helped me into my dress, arranged my veil, gave me loving last minute advice, and cried tears of joys during the ceremony. She was so supportive and helpful as she looked after my new husband and I all throughout the reception… She even yanked us out of the receiving line so we could actually eat some of the food we had so painstakingly picked out. (You’re a lifesaver, Mom!) When the night was finally over and it was time to leave, I hugged her like I’ve never hugged her before. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Because of her example and the lessons she taught, I am now a wife. Someday, I want to be a wonderful mother, just like her. Remember, Mom, no matter what life hands us and no matter what other roles we’re asked to play, I will always be your daughter. I love you!”
