How did you know when you found “the dress”?
It fit me well, it was comfortable and I kept going back to try it on again.
What was your favorite part of the dress?
I loved the open back and the way that the dress was tied you could tighten or loosen to your preference.
How did you and your partner meet?
We met when he was in college and we were both out with some friends and had both just finished work.
How did he propose?
We took a trip to Deadwood, SD, and he took me up hiking to a spot that overlooked the town.

First Lutheran Church Detroit Lakes, MN.
Did your wedding have a theme?
Rustic & romantic.
How did you decide what you wanted your wedding to look like?
After we found the venue which was Milt’s Barn, I started my search on Pinterest to create the overall theme. I had over a year to plan so I had a brainstorming period, then I modified as the décor was more specific to our theme.
What was your favorite wedding day moment?
The feeling walking out of the church holding hands as husband and wife.

Unforgettable.
What advice do you have for future brides?
Stay true to yourself about the wedding that you want. The day of the wedding, turn all your energy to the family and friends there to celebrate you, soak it all in. It is the most loving and humbling experience you will ever have.
